Unanswered questions from Nigeria's black weekend

Why did it take so long to determine where the crash site was?

Where did the "government official" who announced that there were 50 survivors get his information from?

Why was the broadcasting station that finally identified the site correctly promptly shut down?

Why was the Nigerian First Lady having cosmetic surgery done? And why in Malaga, Spain, not necessarily known for its medical excellence? Who was footing the bill?

Is it acceptable to ask these questions now? And if not now, when?

Opinions welcome

Unfortunately, nobody answers questions in Nigeria. Even the so much constituted panels of enquiries never reveal their findings to the public.

That was a very childish question.

That was an ignorant post.

I did not intend to cast aspersions on the Spanish medical system in general, I just found it curious that this surgery was being done in Malaga.Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it unlikely that a member of the Prime Minister's family or the Royal Family in Spain would have any surgery at this clinic in Malaga?

And as to the ignorance or childishness of these questions, that's an opinion and you're welcome to it

I did not find the question childish or the post ignorant. And I wish I had answers to all the questions. Unfortunately, I do not. But time will hopefully reveal all.

Funny, I asked the same questions.

During my phone conversation with Mum back in Lagos, right after her eath, my first question was: "Why Malaga, Spain?"

Any thinking person would ask these questions.

glad you asked these questions. i asked my dad and got the usual 'don't you dare say anything bad about nigeria just because you now live in europe' belligerent answer.
